The Atlas indexes musical genres, scenes, approaches and descriptive terms. A genre can have hundreds of artists and recordings even when YUZ or Public Pressure has published no reviews in that category.

Editorial is a separate, selective layer planned for a later release. Inclusion in the Atlas will not mean a release has been reviewed or endorsed, and paid spotlights will always be identified as advertising.

Connections indicate stylistic proximity, shared context, influence or crossover, as interpreted in this early editorial model. They are not definitive lineages. Dates are approximate, and contested terms remain open to revision.
